Port Bouvard Ltd Seeks Gidgegannup Community’s Views
Eco Tourism
The City of Swan established the Experience Gidgegannup committee with the aim of fostering event and 
tourism development for the area.
Recognising Gidgegannup’s abundance of national parks, agricultural produce and unique rural setting, the City of Swan has identified that an eco-tourism theme for the area is a good basis on which to build the town centre. Publications such as the Wildflower and Scenic Drive map encourage visitors to explore and enjoy the natural environment around Gidgegannup.
The City has undertaken a strategic plan for the Gidgegannup area and is also offering business coaching, tourism workshops and other training opportunities with the local business community.
The City of Swan also plans to conduct some studies re home business and the requirements for technology etc.
Documents including the Swan Economic Profile and Experience Gidgegannup’s Strategic Plan help inform the vision for for Gidgegannup. Please see links on the left to view these documents.
